Daniel "Jr." Glenn Jr.
Lifetime Area Resident
Daniel "Jr." Glenn Jr., 60, of Millville passed away unexpectedly Friday morning July 16, 2010 at the South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland.
The husband of Kimberly Anne Glenn (nee Harris), they were married for ten years but had a loving relationship for over twenty-eight years. He was born in Bridgeton and was the son of the late Daniel Glenn Sr. and the late Dorothy Rannels Glenn. He was a life time resident of Cumberland County.
Following gradation from Bridgeton High School, "Jr." joined the painters union at Hope Creek Nuclear Power Plant in Lower Alloway's Creek Twp. where he worked for several years. He also worked for Quality Lincoln and Mercury in Millville and Enterprise Rent-a-Car. He loved to go fishing with his son and he loved to sing. "Jr." had a great sense of humor, he was a jokester and "there was never a dull moment when he was around." He had many friends and will be missed by all those who knew him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Eric Daniel Harris of Millville, three sisters, Margaret Sutton of Millville, Dorothy Glenn of Port Norris and Brenda Zebraski and her husband Joe of Cedarville and by many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday evening July 20th at 7 o'clock at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton with Rev. Donald Chroninger of the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Shiloh officiating.
Cremation and inurnment will take place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Twp. following the service.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday between 5:30 and 7 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in "Jr.'s" memory to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, PO Box 820, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
